Skip Bin Usage Guidelines

Please do not overload the skip bins. The rubbish must be a level load.

We need to be able to transport the bin safely, without any debris leaving the bin while in transit.

If you find that you under estimated the size that you required and have already filled the bin that had been delivered, please give us a call and arrange delivery of another bin to complete your clean up.

If we arrive to collect your skip bin and find that it is overloaded, you will be charged a wasted trip fee, along with the cost of delivery for another bin.

Aussie Quick Skips aim to reduce the environmental impact of our waste management facilities.

We would appreciate your help with the way in which you load the bin we drop off to you.

If you have arranged a skip bin for a mixture of items to be placed in the bin, we ask that you endeavor to place heavy items (rubble) at the bottom, such as:

First: Bricks, concrete, tiles, sand, soil, rubble
Second: Wood
Third: Rubbish

All green waste must be placed on top of the bin (last item to go in).

Green waste, such as timber, palm & tree cuttings rot & break down to cause greenhouse gas's & future land subsidence.

If you wish to put grass cuttings in the skip bin, please place in plastic bags.

Please note that green waste mixed through rubble is classed as "Contaminated" & incurs additional sorting fees from the landfill operator.

There are certain items that must not be placed in the skip bins, such as:

Unacceptable items found within your bin will incur charges.

Most Council waste facilities have free recycling of old paint & oil as well as LPG cylinders (or Kleenheat Gas will take for free).
